Do I need an existing game?
No. A playable prototype helps significantly.
Do I need revenue?
No. Zero is okay. Early is the point.
Can solo developers apply?
Yes.
Can teams apply?
Yes.
Do I have to be 18?
No. Younger applicants may require parent or guardian involvement before an investment can be completed.
What does StudFund get?
15% of the funded experience's revenue indefinitely.
Is the R$250,000 a loan?
No.
What if the game fails?
You do not owe StudFund R$250,000 back.
Does StudFund control the game?
No.
Can I apply with a private game?
Yes.
Can I apply again?
Yes.
What can the investment be used for?
Anything reasonably connected to building or growing the game: contractors, developers, builders, UI, animation, art, music, advertising, and assets.
How long does review take?
Review times vary by batch. You'll be able to see your application status in your dashboard.
